Susan Phillips (US Air Force)


Susan Phillips grew up in Wisconsin, joined the Air Force at 18 years of age, and was stationed at Mather AFB California from 1972-1976. Upon discharge, Susan attended Sacramento State University and graduated with a B.A. in Psychology. She worked for USA Petroleum and Atlantic Richfield/ARCO for 15 years with territories in California and Nevada assisting franchise store operators as a liaison to corporate offices. 

In 1991, Susan moved to Minneapolis MN where her parents lived, set her sights on more education, and graduated with a master’s degree from United Theological Seminary. After graduating, she moved to Springfield MO to pastor a church, and by 2000 began teaching at Ozark Technical Community College in the Humanities Department. Susan previously taught seated classes and from 2007 has been an online instructor for Ozark Technical Community College, Stevenson Graduate and Professional School, and American Continental University.
